Fakel defeated Sochi at home in the match of the 20th round of the Russian Premier League
MOSCOW, 18 Mar – The players of the Voronezh “Fakel” defeated “Sochi” in their field in the match of the 20th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
The meeting, held on Saturday in Voronezh, ended with the score 3:0 in favor of the hosts. Georgy Gongadze (34th minute – from the penalty spot), Ruslan Magal (73) and Matvey Ivakhnov (79), who scored for the first time in the RPL, scored goals for the winners. The guests finished the match in the minority after the removal of Georgy Melkadze in the 81st minute, who earned two yellow cards within one minute.
