MOSCOW, 19 Jul – Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal has resumed training on the court after tearing his abdominal muscles at Wimbledon, according to the Daily Express.
Nadal trained on the court of his academy in Mallorca. It is noted that the director of the tournament series “Masters” in Montreal, which will be held from August 7 to 14, Eugene Lapierre said that Nadal plans to come to the competition in Canada, adding that hotel rooms for his team have already been booked.
The Spaniard withdrew from the semi-finals of Wimbledon on July 7. He suffered a torn abdominal muscle in a Grand Slam quarterfinal against American Taylor Fritz.
Nadal, who holds the record for the most Grand Slams won in singles among men (22). He is currently ranked third in the ATP rankings.
