Bayern Munich sporting director confirms Mane’s move from Liverpool
MOSCOW, June 17 – Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has confirmed that Liverpool striker Sadio Mane will move to the Munich football club, Torben Hoffman, a Sky Sport journalist, tweeted.
Earlier, journalist Fabrizio Romano on his Twitter page said that the 30-year-old Mane had decided to leave Liverpool. Bayern was called the main contender for the player.
“Yes, he (Mane) will come,” Salihamidzic said.
Mane has represented Liverpool since 2016, during which time he made 269 appearances for the club, scoring 120 goals and providing 48 assists. Together with the Reds, he became the champion of England, the Champions League, the Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, won the FA Cup and the English League Cup. In addition to Liverpool, he represented the French Metz, the Austrian Salzburg and the English Southampton.
