Surkova broke the Russian record in the 50m short course butterfly

KAZAN, 23 Nov – Arina Surkova won the 50m butterfly at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship, which takes place as part of the Friendship Games international competition in Kazan.
Surkova showed a time of 24.84 seconds and broke the Russian record at this distance. Previously, the achievement also belonged to Surkova (24.87), it was set in November 2020 during the International Swimming League (ISL) competition in Budapest.
The second place was taken by Anita Grishchenko (25.45), Daria Klepikova (25.69) rounded out the top three.
