MOSCOW, 26 Jul – Swedish defender Filip Dagerstol, who suspended the contract with Khimki near Moscow, moved to Lech on loan, according to the website of the Polish football club.
On Monday, Dagerstol underwent a medical examination at Lech. After its completion, he will sign a contract with the Poznan club until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Earlier, the International Football Federation (FIFA) extended the permission to suspend contracts with Russian clubs for foreign players until June 2023.
Dagerstol moved to Khimki in January 2021. The agreement with the Moscow Region club was calculated until the end of January 2024. In March, he also took advantage of FIFA’s permission, suspended the contract with Khimki and moved on loan to the Swedish Norrköping.
