The Swedish cross-country team won the mixed relay at the home stage of the World Cup
MOSCOW, 19 Mar – The Swedish national team won the 4×5 km mixed relay at the World Cup in cross-country skiing, which takes place in Falun, Sweden.
Kalle Halfvarsson, Moa Ilar, Edwin Anger, Jonna Sundling finished in 45 minutes 11.5 seconds. The second place was taken by the Norwegian team, which was played by Martin Nienge, Heidi Weng, Simen Kruger, Anne Kjersti Kalvo (lag 4.6 seconds). The German national team, which was represented by Albert Kuchler, Katarina Hennig, Anian Sossau and Victoria Karl (+6.4), closed the top three.
The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) suspended the Russians and Belarusians from the final starts of last season due to the situation in Ukraine. In October, the FIS Council extended the suspension for the 2022/23 season.
