The World Championships in Athletics will end on July 24. The Council of the World Athletics Association (World Athletics) on March 1, against the backdrop of events in Ukraine, suspended Russian and Belarusian athletes from participating in international tournaments, including the World Championships in Eugene. Prior to this, the Russians, due to a doping scandal, had the right to play in a neutral status since 2015.
