Aston Martin driver Stroll crashes during Singapore Grand Prix qualifying
MOSCOW, September 16 – Canadian Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll crashed his car during qualifying at the 16th stage of the Formula 1 championship – the Singapore Grand Prix.
The Canadian’s car skidded in a turn and hit the wall, after which it was thrown onto the track. As a result of the impact, most of the left half of the car was destroyed, the front left wheel flew several meters away from the car. The pilot was not injured and left the cockpit on his own. Due to the accident, the first qualifying segment was completed early.
The Singapore Grand Prix race will take place on Sunday.
