MOSCOW, 23 Jul – Dina and Arina Averina won the team championship as part of the Russia-1 team at the Crystal Rose rhythmic gymnastics tournament in Minsk.
The Russia-1 team also included Maria Borisova and Anna Popova. The Averina sisters did not take first place in any exercise, the best result was the second place in the exercise with clubs Arina Averina.
Silver in the team championship for the team “Belarus-1”. Bronze went to the second Russian team, which included Lala Kramarenko, Anastasia Guzenkova, Diana Chugunikhina and Eva Kalinina.
In the individual all-around victory was won by the world champion representative of Belarus Alina Gornosko, the second place went to Kramarenko, Arina Averina became the third.
The competition, which will last until July 24, is held according to the rules of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). Earlier, FIG suspended Russian and Belarusian athletes from competitions under the auspices of the organization in connection with the events in Ukraine.
