Choreographer Zheleznyakov admitted that he “went too far” in relation to Trusova
MOSCOW, 18 Jan — The choreographer of the Eteri Tutberidze group, Alexei Zheleznyakov, admitted that he undeservedly criticized figure skater Alexandra Trusova for refusing to participate in the Russian championship.
In December last year, Trusova withdrew from the Russian Championship due to poor health. Zheleznyakov later stated that Trusova “ran away” due to fear of competition, as she was in poor shape.
Alexandra Trusova is the silver medalist of the 2022 Olympics, as well as the bronze medalist of the World and European Championships.
