Today, July 4, 2022, the process of issuing Fan IDs (Fan IDs) for visiting Russian stadiums has been launched. However, on the very first day of its work, the Fan ID registration system failed – all incoming applications are rejected by the State Services.
Well-known journalists and ordinary fans complain about the problem with obtaining a Fan ID. At the same time, almost all of them note that they have not previously had any problems with the law, administrative offenses, and drives to the police.
Recall that on December 30, 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the introduction of a fan passport for attending sporting events. Fan-ID is an electronic document required to identify a spectator, participant, and other persons involved in the tournament in order to ensure security and public order.
Earlier it was reported that about 773 million rubles would be allocated from the budget for the implementation of this system in 2021-2022.
