Cameroon national team player Ondua put up boots with the flag of Russia for a charity auction
MOSCOW, 1 Dec – Cameroon national footballer Gael Ondua announced on his Telegram channel about a charity auction, where he exhibited his boots with the flags of Cameroon and Russia, in which he played at the World Cup in Qatar.
Proceeds from the sale of the boots will go to a charity that helps children from orphanages across Russia find their parents. The starting price of Ondua boots is 10 thousand rubles. In the comments, one of the subscribers said that he was ready to pay 100 thousand for them.
Ondua is 27 years old, he was born in Cameroon, but has lived in Russia since childhood. The football player began his career in the youth team of the Moscow Lokomotiv. He also played for CSKA Moscow, Zorya Lugansk, Anji Makhachkala, Swiss Servette and Danish Vejle. Now he represents the German “Hannover”.
At the World Championships in Qatar, Ondua managed to take part in two matches, coming on as a substitute in meetings with the national teams of Switzerland (0:1) and Serbia (3:3).
