St. Petersburg, July 28 – The Kalininsky District Court arrested the head of the St. Petersburg Motorcycling Federation, Maxim Bublikov, in a case of violence against a minor, the combined press service of the city courts reported.
“The Kalininsky District Court ruled on the choice of a measure of restraint in the form of detention for Maxim Bublikov, who is accused of committing a crime under paragraph “a” part 3 of Article 132 (Forcible acts of a sexual nature committed against a minor) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation”, – reported in the press service.
It is noted that the process was held behind closed doors, Bublikov pleaded not guilty.
According to local media reports, a 54-year-old man is suspected of inducing a 15-year-old schoolgirl into sex.
The term of the measure of restraint in the form of Bublikov’s arrest is set to September 25.
