The head of the UFC did not rule out that Conor McGregor will return to the octagon next summer

MOSCOW, 21 Jan – The head of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Dana White, in an interview with ESPN, did not rule out that the former champion in two weight categories, Irish fighter Conor McGregor, could return to the octagon this summer.
“I think Conor will be back this summer, but I’m not sure. Everything will depend on how his leg heals and a million other things that can happen before the summer,” White said.
“So it’s stupid to speculate for now. When Conor calls and says he’s ready to return, we will start discussing options for him,” the head of the UFC added.
Conor McGregor has not fought since July 2021, when he broke his leg in the first round of a fight against American Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 and lost by technical knockout.
