MOSCOW, September 18 – Magnitogorsk Metallurg beat Ekaterinburg Avtomobilist in a regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The meeting in Magnitogorsk ended with a score of 4:2 (1:0, 2:2, 1:0) in favor of the hosts. Egor Korobkin (8th and 49th minutes), Grigory Dronov (28) and Maxim Mukhametov (38) scored goals for the winners. Oleg Li (30) and Alexey Byvaltsev (33) scored for the guests.
Metallurg scored 13 points in eight matches and continues to lead the Eastern Conference table. The Ekaterinburg team is sixth with nine points.
