Shomurodov and Urunov were called up to the national team of Uzbekistan to prepare for the match with Russia
MOSCOW, 11 Nov – Roma striker Eldor Shomurodov and former Spartak Moscow midfielder Oston Urunov have been included in the extended Uzbekistan national team for a friendly match with the Russian team, according to the website of the Football Association of Uzbekistan.
The midfielder of the Moscow “Torpedo” Khozhimat Erkinov was also included in the squad.
The Russian national team will play friendly matches against the Tajik team in Dushanbe on November 17 and against the Uzbekistan national team in Tashkent on November 20. The Uzbekistan team will begin preparations for the control meeting on November 13.
Urunov is currently without a club. Earlier Yekaterinburg “Ural” announced the termination of the contract with the player by mutual agreement of the parties. Previously, Urunov played for Ufa, from where he moved to Spartak Moscow. Shomurodov has played eight matches for Roma in all competitions this season and scored one goal.
