SIMFEROPOL, December 2 – The president of one of the Crimean football clubs was detained and brought to administrative responsibility for organizing an illegal event with the participation of fans, the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
Earlier, a video of fans with lit flares on the road appeared on social networks, which actually blocked traffic on the Simferopol bypass. According to the authors of the publications, we are talking about the fans of FC Rubin Yalta, whose team on November 30 lost in the final of the Cup of the Crimean Football Union to Simferopol TSK-Tavria. The match was held in the village of Agrarny near Simferopol. Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that protocols had been drawn up for 21 fans.
A protocol was drawn up against the man for organizing a mass event that violated public order. The materials were sent to the court for consideration. The press service of the department specified that the president of the football club was detained pending a court decision.
A source in the emergency services of the region said that the detainee is the president of FC “Rubin Yalta” Sergei Gardok.
