Foot Mercato: Hazard does not want to continue his football career
MOSCOW, 28 Aug – Belgian bronze medalist Eden Hazard has no plans to look for a club and intends to end his career as a football player, according to Foot Mercato.
According to the source, the 32-year-old midfielder was interested in Saudi Al-Hilal, Brazilian Botafogo, French Nice, Marseille and Lille, as well as unnamed clubs in the North American Major League Soccer (MLS) and Turkish championship.
The player himself, according to the portal, does not plan to sign a contract with anyone, despite the persuasion of his entourage, but intends to spend more time with his family.
Hazard broke the contract with the Spanish “Real” in June, in which he became the winner of the Champions League, twice won the championship and the Spanish Super Cup, once – the UEFA Super Cup and the Spanish Cup. Prior to that, he represented the English “Chelsea” and “Lille”. As part of the Belgian national team, Hazard won bronze at the 2018 World Cup, which was held in Russia.
