MOSCOW, 28 Jul – Traktor Chelyabinsk, by agreement of the parties, terminated the contract with the Belarusian defender of American origin Nick Baylen, according to the official Telegram channel of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) club.
Bailen spent five seasons with Traktor, his contract was calculated until April 2023. The rights to the 32-year-old defender in the KHL will remain with the Chelyabinsk club until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Baylen played 64 games last season, scoring 50 points (10 goals and 40 assists). Before moving to Traktor, the defender played for Dynamo Minsk for three years.
In 2014, Bailen received the citizenship of Belarus, as part of the national team of this country he played at the 2021 World Cup, Olympic qualifying tournaments and various international friendly tournaments.
