MOSCOW, 15 Nov – Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvey Safonov and Spartak Moscow midfielder Anton Zinkovsky will not fly with the Russian national football team in Dushanbe for a friendly match with the Tajik team for health reasons, according to the Telegram channel of the national team.

On Tuesday, Safonov and Zinkovsky left the base of the Russian national team in Novogorsk. The goalkeeper was injured in the shoulder joint in the match of the 17th round of the championship of Russia with Orenburg, and the midfielder caught a cold.
“Anton Zinkovsky, due to a cold, will remain in Moscow for the time being under the supervision of the club’s doctor. The decision on his participation in the matches will be made later and will depend on the state of health,” the doctor added.
The Russian team will play friendly matches against the Tajik team in Dushanbe (November 17) and against the Uzbekistan team in Tashkent (November 20).
