MOSCOW, 20 Jul – Forward Sergei Plotnikov has extended his contract with CSKA, according to the official Telegram channel of the Moscow hockey club.
The new agreement with the 32-year-old hockey player is for two years.
Plotnikov became a CSKA player in the summer of 2021. Last season, he played 65 games for the army team, scored 40 points (22 goals and 18 assists) and won the Gagarin Cup. Previously, Plotnikov played for Metallurg Magnitogorsk, Amur Khabarovsk, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and SKA Petersburg, with whom he won the Gagarin Cup in 2017.
As part of the Russian national team, Plotnikov is a winner, as well as a silver and three-time bronze medalist at the World Championships and a silver medalist at the 2022 Olympics.
