UEFA record €5.7bn total revenue for 2020/21 season

MOSCOW, May 11 – The total revenue of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for the financial year of the 2020/21 season was a record 5.725 billion euros, informed AP journalist Rob Harris on his Twitter.
The figures were given during the UEFA congress in Vienna. Despite the effects of the pandemic, UEFA’s total revenue surpassed the previous record for 2015/16 of €4.58bn. In the summer of 2021, the European Championship, postponed from 2020, took place.
It was also announced that UEFA will increase funding to national football associations by 21% under the HatTrick assistance program between 2024 and 2028. Funding will increase from 775.5 million euros to 935 million.
