US Open winner Alcaraz climbs to 1st in ATP title race, Medvedev 5th

MOSCOW, 12 Sep – Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz takes first place in the title race of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), the new version of which is published on the organization’s website.
Alcaraz became the winner of the US Open, which ended on Sunday. Russian Daniil Medvedev, who reached the 1/8 finals of the US Open, remained on the fifth line of the rating. Andrey Rublev, who stopped at the US Open quarter-final stage, moved up to sixth position, while Karen Khachanov, a semi-finalist of the tournament in New York, moved up to 17th position.
