Valentina Shevchenko broke up with Alexa Grasso and could not return the UFC belt
MOSCOW, September 17 – Valentina Shevchenko, representing Kyrgyzstan, fought Alexa Grasso from Mexico in a rematch for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight title.
The five-round fight took place in Las Vegas and ended in a draw. In her first fight in March, Shevchenko submitted in the fourth round via submission and lost her UFC title.
Shevchenko now has 23 wins with four defeats and a draw. The record of Grasso, who retained the belt, is 16 wins, three losses and a draw.
