Verstappen called qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix a shocking experience
MOSCOW, September 16 – The current world champion and leader of the Formula 1 season, Dutchman Max Verstappen from the Red Bull team, called his participation in qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix a shocking experience.
At the previous stage in Italy, Verstappen set a new Formula 1 record for the number of victories in a row, winning the tenth Grand Prix in a row. On Saturday, he failed to qualify for the third segment of qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix and finished in 11th place.
According to the Dutchman, his car was almost uncontrollable during qualifying. “We changed the settings and it ended up being too aggressive. I was skidding in every corner and losing front grip when braking. You couldn’t really hit the brakes like I wanted. Basically, I had to be very careful. It was very, very difficult,” added the driver.
