“Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers will face challenges in the second half of IPL”

Former cricketer Gautam Gambhir has given a big reaction to the two legendary players of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. He has said that the second phase of IPL will not be easy for these players as they will take time to adjust themselves according to the conditions.

Gautam Gambhir said that Virat Kohli is coming to England after playing four Test matches and that is why he will take time to adapt himself to the T20 format in UAE conditions. Whereas AB de Villiers is coming straight to IPL without playing any cricket. Because of this, they will also have to face problems.

During a conversation on Star Sports, Gautam Gambhir talked about the challenges being faced by these two legends. They said,

Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers will face big challenges. AB de Villiers is coming to the tournament without playing any cricket. On the other hand, Virat will have to adjust himself very soon because he has no time left. They will have to switch to T20 mode directly from Test matches. If RCB have to win the title by qualifying in the playoffs, then scoring runs for these two players will be very important.

Let us tell you that RCB’s team would like to continue their better performance in the second phase of IPL 2021 and this time they will try to end the title drought. The team’s performance in the first half was very good and at the moment they are at the third position in the points table. They have won five out of 7 matches. Delhi Capitals is at the first and Chennai Super Kings in second place. While Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians are at the fourth position.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore team will start their campaign for the second leg of IPL 2021 against Kolkata Knight Riders on 20 September and will look to register a win in the first match.
