Virat Kohli broke his silence about the cancellation of Manchester Test match, gave a big statement

Team India captain Virat Kohli has given a big reaction to the cancellation of the 5th Test match between India and England (IND vs ENG). He told that due to which this match had to be cancelled. According to Virat Kohli, this match had to be canceled due to fear of Corona.

Virat Kohli, who arrived in UAE for IPL, gave a statement regarding the Manchester Test match. Talking to “RCB Bold Diaries”, he expressed his disappointment over the cancellation of the Test match.

Virat Kohli’s reaction to the cancellation of Manchester Test match

Captain Virat Kohli is quite disappointed that the Indian team had to return without completing the series. They said,

Unfortunately we had to end this series early. But things had become quite uncertain due to the Corona virus. Anything could happen at any time.

Let us tell you that due to Corona virus, Indian players had refused to play in the Manchester Test and due to this the match was canceled. After the assistant physio was found to be Corona positive, many Indian players had expressed concern about playing in this Test match. The match was canceled after mutual consent of both the boards.

At the same time, India has offered England to play two T20 matches in lieu of the Manchester Test match. The England Cricket Board has suffered a lot due to the cancellation of the Manchester Test match and it will be compensated by playing two T20 matches. The broadcasters had to suffer a huge loss due to the cancellation of the fifth Test match.

Let us tell you that the Indian team will tour England in 2022 to play three ODIs and three T20 matches.
