MOSCOW, May 14 – Hockey players “Washington Capitals” lost to the “Florida Panthers” in the sixth game of the series of the first round of the playoffs of the National Hockey League (NHL) and dropped out of the Stanley Cup.

Russian Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky saved 34 of 37 shots. Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin had one shot on target and had six power moves. Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov provided one assist. Defender “capital” Dmitry Orlov scored two shots on target and four hits. The goalkeeper of “Washington” Ilya Samsonov has 27 saves.
The score in the best-of-four series was 4-2 in favor of Florida, which made it to the second round of the NHL playoffs for the first time since 1996. The Capitals have not made it past the first leg of the Stanley Cup since 2019.
