Bad news for fans who are relieved to watch IPL 2021 matches amid Coronavirus outbreaks across the country. This season’s 30th match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Monday was postponed due to Coronavirus.

The reason behind this is KKR’s mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy and fast bowler Sandeep Warrier being infected with Corona.

After all this, now the question is in the minds of the fans that how the corona can spread in the midst of such a stringent corona protocol. According to media reports, there has been huge negligence with Varun Chakravarthy, due to which the match has to be postponed.

According to information from ‘Sports Tak’, the corona case came to light when Varun Chakravarthy was rushed to the hospital some time back due to an elbow problem.

After this, Varun played the next match against Delhi Capitals after coming back from the hospital without going to quarantine. Due to this disturbance, the bio bubble of IPL 2021 broke in and Corona’s case came out. Later in the Corona Test, his teammate Sandeep was also found to be infected with the virus.

Currently, the entire KKR camp has moved immediately to the quarantine at its Ahmedabad hotel. According to the BCCI, other members of the team have been found to be negative.

The IPL is very cautious in view of the situation with Corona across the country, but in spite of this, the presence of Corona infection in the bio-bubble may put the IPL in jeopardy.
