Wrestler Uguev won an Olympic license
MOSCOW, September 18 – Russian freestyle wrestler Zaur Uguev has won an Olympic license for the 2024 Games, which will be held in Paris.
On Monday, Uguev lost in the bout for bronze in the 57kg weight category, but later in the bout for the license he defeated Kazakhstan’s Meirambek Kartbay with a score of 4:0.
Uguev is 28 years old, he is an Olympic champion and two-time world champion.
The World Championships in Belgrade will end on September 24. Russians and Belarusians are allowed to participate in competitions in a neutral status.
