Zenit and Ural reached an agreement on the transfer of defender Arsen Adamov to the St. Petersburg club.
The contract is calculated until the end of the 2025/2026 season and will enter into force after the player passes an in-depth medical examination in St. Petersburg, the press service of the blue-white-blues reports.
Adamov has been playing for the Ural since 2021. This season, the 22-year-old football player took part in 17 matches of the Russian Premier League for the Yekaterinburg club and scored 1 goal. He plays mainly as a right-back, has experience playing both in the center of defense and on the left. Recently, he has been called up to the Russian national team.
The Ural has scored 19 points in 18 matches and is in 11th place in the standings of the Russian Premier League for the 2021/2022 season. The leader of the competition is the St. Petersburg “Zenith” (38). The current champion of the country is Zenit.
