Zverev beats Auger-Aliassime to reach the semi-finals of the tournament in Madrid

MOSCOW, May 7 – German tennis player Alexander Zverev reached the semi-finals of the tournament in Madrid, the prize fund of which exceeds 6.7 million euros.
Zverev, seeded No. 2, beat Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, seeded No. 8, in the quarterfinals. The meeting ended with the score 6:3, 7:5. Tennis players spent 1 hour and 56 minutes on the court.
For reaching the final, Zverev will compete with the fifth racket of the world, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, who defeated the Russian Andrey Rublev in the quarterfinals.
