Cricket often shows its ruthless nature. On one side, fireworks lit up sky champions celebrated wildly, and memorable moments were captured with grand festivities.

Meanwhile, on the other side New Zealand players stood quietly, watching India’s victorious squad lift the golden Champions Trophy in their bright white jackets.

This time luck didn’t favor the Kiwis. In past ICC tournaments New Zealand twice defeated India in finals, claiming the title both times. However, this time was different. India emerged victorious in Dubai, winning by four wickets to secure the prestigious Champions Trophy.
As Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and their teammates tried to hold onto their celebration moments, the New Zealand camp looked scattered, quietly hiding their disappointment. Despite the heartbreak, there was still a silver lining for the Kiwis.
Rachin Ravindra, who couldn’t play the tournament’s opening match returned in the second game against Bangladesh and smashed a brilliant century.
