Yankees Triumph Over Mets in Heated Subway Series Clash

Yankee Stadium erupted with energy during 29th Subway Series where New York Yankees defeated New York Mets 6-2 in a highly charged matchup. This marked only the third year both teams entered the series in first place amplifying the stakes and emotions, particularly surrounding Juan Soto’s return to Bronx as a Met.

For Mets, Brandon Nimmo shone with two hits, including an RBI single, while Francisco Lindor drove in a run with a double in the ninth. Despite these efforts Mets couldn’t overcome the early deficit leaving multiple runners on base.
