Ravi Shastri, chief coach of the Indian cricket team, praised the young batsman Prithvi Shaw and said that he has a glimpse of Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara and Virender Sehwag. Shastri said, “His (Shaw) birth has happened only for playing cricket. He is playing in Mumbai’s grounds at the age of eight. You can see their hard work. The audience also finds their game as spectacular. There is a little bit of Sachin and a little glimpse of Sehwag and when he walks, Lara also has a glimpse of it. ”
They said, “If they keep themselves concentrated and pay attention to the game then their future is pleasant. Shaw had scored a century in his debut Test. He played an impressive 70 off 52 balls in his first innings on the second day of the second Test. Indian coach also praised pace bowler Umesh Yadav on this occasion, who picked up 10 wickets in the match. He is the third Indian bowler to take 10 wickets after Kapil Dev and Javagal Srinath. Shastri said, “It is a very disappointing person to sit on a bench as a player, as he was in four matches with Umesh. Only 11 players can play. They took good advantage of the opportunity they got here, I am happy for them. Such performance is only for the fourth time.

While Indian captain Virat Kohli has said that the young batsman, Prithvi Shaw, who has scored a century in his very first Test, should not be compared to anybody at this time. Shaw played 134 runs in international cricket against West Indies in the first Test played at Rajkot. After this, it was compared to players like Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag.
