Zainutdinov’s double brought Kazakhstan victory over Finland in the Euro 2024 qualifying

MOSCOW, 17 Oct – The Kazakhstan national team beat the Finnish team in the away match of the 8th round of the qualifying tournament for the 2024 European Football Championship.
The Group H meeting in Helsinki ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the guests. The hosts’ goal was scored by Robert Taylor (28th minute), while Bakhtiyor Zainutdinov scored a brace for the visitors (77 from the penalty spot, 90).

Thanks to this victory, the Kazakhstan team scored 15 points and rose to third place in the group, ahead of the Finns (12 points). Also in the group are teams from Slovenia (16), Denmark (16), Northern Ireland (6) and San Marino (0).
